Christmas Party!

So, before we left to come to PR we had our very own first time as a hosts. We had a Christmas party in our new house... and I have to admit, being the control/neat-freak that I am, I was a little overwhelmed and stressed about it. I decided I would only invite the people I care about, the closest ones, thinking I wasn't going to have that many people. And as I was making the evite I realized that the guest list was getting longer. And that made me think... I am lucky to have very good friends that I love. It made me happy the thought of inviting them over to my house and have a good time just catching up, eating and just being us. It was like a preview of what this Christmas is going to be. My dear friends are like my family here. They have made my stay in far-away-from-home California. When life becomes sour and you don't even want to taste it anymore, they are right there to remind me that it can be sour, but definitely life has its sweet moments. They are my my biggest supporters, we laugh, cry and grow together. I don't even have to mention their names, because they know who they are. I am forever grateful for my friends, and for all the blessings I had this year ( and 3 are the most important ones: Irvin, Coco and Canela).
